What a donation is

A voluntary gift towards the cost of running RowliPurli. It is not a purchase, a subscription, or a payment for anything. Nothing in the app is locked behind a donation, because nothing in RowliPurli is locked at all — every feature is there whether or not you ever give a penny.

You get no goods and no services in return. That is not us being modest; it is what makes this a gift rather than a transaction, and it is worth being plain about before you enter a card.

The details

• Donations are in US dollars only.
• The minimum is $0.50, which is the smallest amount our payment processor will take.
• It is a one-time gift. Nothing recurring is set up, and nothing is charged again.
• Your receipt comes from Stripe, our payment processor, not from us.

Refunds

Changed your mind? We'll refund your donation in full, with no deadline and no form to fill in. Just say so when you email us.

Refunds go back to the card you gave with. Stripe usually takes five to ten days to return it, which is their timing, not ours.

What we keep

We don't store anything about your donation. No name, no card, no history — RowliPurli never sees your card details, and there's no donor record on our side to look up or delete.

Stripe does keep a record of the payment, because the law requires them to. That record is theirs, not ours, and deleting your RowliPurli account doesn't reach it. If you'd like to know what Stripe holds, their privacy policy is the place to ask.

How to ask for a refund

You don't need to give a reason — just say you'd like your donation back when you get in touch.
